Life Insurance Officer (m/f)


LO Europe is looking for someone able to fulfill the following requirements:


Mission:

  • Ensuring consistent implementation of the Insurance brokerage contracts, User Guide & workflows, shared contractual documentation follow up 
  • Ensuring implementation of harmonized “Life-Insurance procedures” across the European offices 
  • Maintaining awareness of regulatory developments and update Life-Insurance procedures 
  • Managing Life Insurance contracts: clients request analysis & contractual documentation for all Lifeinsurance related operations and orders (subscription, purchase, …) 
  • Monitoring follow-up with clients and Life Insurance companies 
  • Assuming contractual documentation collect & storage 
  • Ensuring checks at every stage of the Insurance Contracts’ life cycle : Due Diligence, Suitability, Regulatory controls Commission, Account booking on basis of received documents and custodian’s statements… 


Management and Reporting:

  • Reporting to the Head of Life Insurance Europe 


Counterparties and clients:

  • Key Internal Contacts : Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers, IT & Operations’ team, Legal, Risk and Compliance 
  • Key External Contacts : Insurance companies, CAA/ Regulators’ representatives where and when needs be 


Qualifications / education required:

  • Knowledge of Life Insurance environment and products 
  • Relevant education and professional qualification 


Experience required :

  • 5 years’ + experience in a Private Banking environment within an Insurance function or in an Insurance company 
  • Sound experience in Private Banking / Funds’/ Insurance business and processes

  • Autonomy 
  • Rigorous analytical skills 
  • Team spirit and interpersonal skills 


Language skills: French, English. Any other languages a plus.
