Technical Account Officer (female/male)

Deutsche Börse Group has a vacancy for a Technical Account Officer (female/male)

Fixed term contract of 2 years

DBAG, IT & Operations, Data & New Asset Classes, IT Infrastructure & Operations, Systems Infrastructure

 

Field of activity

The Systems Infrastructure department is mainly responsible for the management of Servers and Third Party Software Infrastructure (Windows / Citrix bases systems, Unix / Linux, Z/OS / Z/Linux, VMS, Hypervisor); the management of the Data Infrastructure (database, backup and storage); the management of the Connectivity to SWIFT and via MQ; the administration and operation of Notes, Metaframe, Novell, SAP systems and Office Automation support systems; the infrastructure process support (Capacity Planning, Disaster Recovery, Asset Management, etc.).

Tasks/responsibilities
  • Provide project coordination for the customer's  initiatives (this would include project management and solutions consulting)
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams in project qualification and delivery phases
  • Design and develop innovative solutions to customer requirements and costing of those solutions
  • Function as a front-line technical resource for informal customer questions
  • Ability to learn fast
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment
  • Highly self-motivated, self directed and attentive to details
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural international team
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal and negotiation skills

Qualifications/required skills

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with modern IT technologies, with emphasis on software and hardware architecture, infrastructure and security design
  • Very good knowledge of Windows and Citrix environments
  • Additional skills in one or more of the following areas will be of advantage: Linux System administration, Network and Security design, Data Center design, Business Continuity Management, ITIL V3, PMP/Prince2 certifications
  • Experience in answering to RFI/RFP, preferably in the outsourcing area
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands
  • Excellent capacity  to build a relationship with the customer representatives
  • At least 5+ years experience in customer-facing positions as a professional services consultant, pre sales engineer or Infrastructure project manager
  • Languages: English. French / German would be considered as an asset
