IT Project Manager

For our office in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for an:

                                                                                      IT PROJECT MANAGER

  • This role reports to the Global Head of PMO as Project Manager in charge of the Alter Domus Program of IT projects both for our headquarter in Luxembourg and several of our international locations.
  • You are a leader who takes charge and can manage people and able to work through differing views within an organisation to drive out change and deliver results.
  • Always assuring a clear link to the business, you will need to formalise a project plan, scope and objectives, as well as to put in place a project framework to manage the project with colleagues from various departments & across several international location, as well as third parties.
  • You will own and drive project actions, next steps, and ensure your cross functional team identify and manage the resolution/mitigation of issues/risks.
  • You are responsible for the project communication to the stakeholders, key to the success of this projects.
  • You will ensure the follow-up and execution of this project, delivering expected results, scope within timing, budget and quality constraints previously agreed upon with the project sponsors.


  • 7 to 10 years of experience in the Financial Services / Fund Services industry as a IT project manager of complex type of projects, involving different dimensions (organisational, technological, process, regulatory…) and managing internal & external stakeholders from different locations in the world.
  • Considerable experience in delivering technology solutions with a focus in Project Management and proficiency in using MS Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with IT projects in Finance & Fund Management industry preferred.
  • Demonstrable managing a portfolio of diverse IT projects and workstreams.
  • Excellent IT Management experience and previous experience of working in a hands-on IT role.
  • Excellent communicator, including to executive management/C-level.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Understanding of issues relating to capability and cross platform dependencies and implications.
  • This role will be based in Luxembourg with some travel expected to our international offices.
  • English is mandatory (French is an asset).
