System Analyst


Kreios
is a team of engineers focused on the development of industrial and tourism web solutions as well as the development of what gets typically referred to as a "line-of-business application”.

We are currently hunting for a System Analyst in the Luxembourg area in order to complement our existing team of experts.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and moderating requirement workshops
  • Creating and iteratively refining the system specification, which is typically comprised of:
    • User scenarios (text files in Gherkin/Cucumber format)
    • Low-fidelity wireframes (created in Balsamiq or UXPin)
    • High-fidelity visual design (created by our designer in Photoshop and published as clickable prototype on Invision.com)
    • Supplementary documentation (created in MS Word)
  • Technical consultations with customers in close collaboration with the development team (presales, requirement specification, pointing out contradictions and providing suitable solutions)
  • If necessary: Acting as project lead on small to medium-sized projects
    • Managing the development team, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within the budget as well as removing impediments
    • Planning and estimation in close collaboration with the development team throughout the development cycle (work breakdown structure, sprint planning)
    • Direction and guidance of freelancers and other team members as well as reviewing their work results (functional review)
    • Reporting

Your profile:

  • Ability to organize your own work as well as the work of freelancers and other team members
  • Ability to independently manage and effectively organize and prioritize work
  • High degree of personal responsibility
  • Strong communication and analytical skill (Ability to assess and analyze factual circumstances and transform them into solutions)
  • The Scrum and Scientific methodology sound familiar to you
  • You should be motivated to constantly broaden your horizon, energetic, enthusiastic and of course a good team player
  • Ideally you would come from a technical/scientific background
  • You should enjoy tasks for which the way of how to approach them needs to be defined on your own initiative and responsibility
  • You should enjoy communication with a high level of negotiation skills
  • English is a must, any other language is an advantage (Other languages spoken at the office: German, French, Luxembourgish, Italian, Swedish)
