Keen to capitalise on considerable new business opportunities, they are looking to appoint a technical and experienced Sales Manager to lead their Benelux region through a period of tremendous change, opportunity and growth.
Reporting to the Sales Director, this role offers extraordinary autonomy, scope and potential for a driven sales and business development professional to develop and grow sales across the Benelux region.
Key tasks in this hands-on role will include developing and implementing the company's sales strategy for the region to capitalise on significant new market opportunities. You will identify and manage distributors, build and develop professional relationships with system integrators, specifiers, contractors and OEMs to secure long-term repeat business ensuring that realistic profit and growth objectives are met.
With a degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or commercial discipline, you will be an ambitious and driven sales professional with a demonstrable track record of generating new business through selling technical products and solutions to a demanding customer base. Any experience of opening new markets and selling both direct to end customer and via distributors will be highly advantageous.
Experience of Building Management Systems and solutions would be advantageous but is not essential. Above all you will need to demonstrate success at growing sales and creating new business opportunities within a fast moving, price and quality conscious sector.
Personal credibility, vision, drive and enthusiasm are essential.
The territory for this role covers the whole of the Benelux region but you could be based in either the Netherlands, Belgium or Luxemburg. You will be a fluent speaker in English, Dutch, Flemish or French.
