Job Description


To sustain our continuous development, we are currently seeking 2 Tax Lawyers to join our Tax team in Luxembourg.

Dentons opened for business in Luxembourg on 1 January, 2016 following the successful completion of its combination with leading Luxembourg law firm, OPF Partners. The team of 35 lawyers and 15 support staff is providing a full range of legal services, with a particular focus on corporate, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, tax, investment funds, banking and finance, structured finance, real estate, restructuring and insolvency, and litigation.

 

TAX ASSOCIATE (m/f)

Your mission :

As a member of the Tax practice, your duties will include :

  • Advising clients on all tax related aspects linked to their structure
  • Working in collaboration with our other departments to provide the best service to our clients
  • Participating in the development of the Tax practice


Your Profile:

  • You have a university degree in law (equivalent to Master 2, LLM);
  • You have a strong knowledge of Luxembourg Law;
  • You have gained 3 to 5 years’ experience in International Tax law in a law firm, or in the Tax department of a Big 4 ;
  • You are fluent in English and French - any other language is an asset;
  • You can work effectively in a team and perform with a high level of quality and responsibility at all times;
  • You can manage a challenging workload even when under pressure;
  • You liaise with external providers, clients and legal authorities;
  • Registration with any EU Bar is required.

 

SENIOR VAT LAWYER (m/f)

Your mission :

As a member of the Tax practice, your duties will include :

  • Advising clients on all VAT related matters
  • Being the key contact for clients
  • Developing the VAT practice (business development, conferences, articles…)
  • Working in collaboration with our other departments to provide the best service to our clients

 

Your Profile:

  • You have a university degree in law (equivalent to Master 2, LLM);
  • You have a strong knowledge of Luxembourg Law;
  • You have gained a minimum of 8 years’ experience in International Tax law in a law firm, or in the Tax department of a Big4 (strong knowledge and experience in VAT);
  • You are fluent in English and French - any other language is an asset;
  • You can work effectively in a team and perform to a high level of quality and responsibility at all times;
  • You are business development oriented;
  • You can manage a challenging workload even when under pressure;
  • You liaise with external providers, clients and legal authorities;
  • Registration with any EU Bar is required.
