Job Description


In this position, you will be responsible for the continuity of the systems infrastructure and for supporting business applications.

You will:

  • Ensure Systems support & maintain service levels
  • Be the expert for the maintenance of systems infrastructure and the recovery methods for system running MS Windows, MSSQL, WMware
  • Implement new technologies and systems infrastructure
  • Perform systems upgrades for security reasons
  • Conduct disaster recovery in accordance with existing procedures
  • Analyse problems and provide time estimates for resolution of problems
  • Contribute to local or regional projects
  • Adhere to IS standards, including change management standards
  • Keep up to date with corporate IT (security & privacy o.a.) regulations and applies where appropriate
  • Maintain infrastructure for automated monitoring or procedures for manual monitoring
  • Instruct outsource partner (TCS) for point 12 as part of change management

 

In addition, you will

  • Provide technical support to users and other IT staff - firefights, problem resolution, training
  • Provide emergency support for business and operating units
  • Give On call support in shift during business hours or non-business hours

Qualifications
  • Higher professional education in Information Technology (Bachelor degree).
  • 5+ years worked as System & Network Tech and followed additional ICT courses
  • ITILv3
  • Experience in IT Governance methods
  • You are a good technician with strong experience on Servers (Windows), LAN (Cisco) and Telecom

 

You have an experience in:

  • Relevant monitoring tools
  • Relevant operating system platforms
  • Relevant software middleware, security
  • You have troubleshooting and security awareness skills
  • Fundamental LAN, WAN & WIFI knowledge
  • Telephony knowledge (Analog and VOIP)
  • Application knowledge (Google, Office suite, ...)
  • Very good knowledge in French and English (spoken and written)
