Job Description

The Client Relationship Department acts as unique point of contact between Nomura Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. (NBL) and clients (Investors and (Sub)-Investment Advisors). It answers to all inquiries, requests from/to (Sub)-Investment Advisors / Investors or NBL departments. It ensures proper management of projects like on boarding, new funds set-up or liquidation of funds by coordinating the discussion between NBL and clients. The main objective of the department is to develop and maintain a consistently high level of service by responding to clients’ queries and co-ordinating the distribution of information relative to the funds.

In order to support the Department, we are looking for an Officer on a permanent contract. 

Your main tasks will be to:

 

·         Maintain regular contact with clients: answer queries, requests and claims received from Investment Advisors, Investors and Promoters, Distributors mainly in Japan related to funds operated by NBL

·         Manage documents with regards to AML-KYC client-related document as well as internal procedure

·         Document management with regards to creation of new products as well as internal procedure 

·         Participate to the internal projects of the bank in terms of analysis, and implementation

·         Provide our clients (Japan and English contacts) with the best quality they can expect 

·         Represent Client Relationship Department responsibilities in all aspects of services provided internally towards all other NBL departments and externally towards all business relations

·         Open accounts for new relationship clients, identify the clients in compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer Policy

·         Review operating memorandum for new funds and keep a detailed follow up of their signature and annual review

·         Assist management in the oversight of new funds launching / check documentation / check Share point view / ensure the correct follow up is performed

·         Monitor correct distribution of queries and dispatch them when needed

·         Assist management to perform formal quality checks on deliveries and assist to create a procedure on this respect

 

Job requirements:

·         Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken) is mandatory

·         First working experience in administration, preferably in the Financial Sector

·         Successful record in building and maintaining client relationship with strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation

·         AML/KYC knowledge is an advantage

·         Studies in Finance, Business Administration or related matters is an advantage

·         High professional approach in all contacts, risk awareness, customer and quality minded 

·         Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure

·         Excellent problem solving and analytical skills 

·         Flexibility, open-mindedness and team spirit are highly appreciated assets
