Job Description

The Luxembourg Convention Bureau G.I.E. (LCB) promotes Luxembourg internationally as a premium destination for business events. As the national convention bureau, LCB drives the acquisition of corporate meetings, incentives, and conferences that generate economic impact and international visibility for the Grand Duchy.

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Corporate Business Events Manager to grow the corporate meetings and incentives market. The role focuses on business development, sales activation, and strong relationship management with corporate clients and industry partners.

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate, and convert business opportunities in the corporate meetings, incentives, and team-building segment
  • Build and manage relationships with corporate decision-makers, agencies, and event planners
  • Plan and deliver targeted sales activities (B2B workshops, roadshows, trade fairs, sales missions, both domestically and internationally)
  • Represent Luxembourg internationally and deliver compelling destination sales presentations
  • Organise and host familiarisation trips and site inspections
  • Coordinate RFP responses and partner contributions to winning proposals
  • Act as the main contact point for corporate clients and local partners
  • Promote Luxembourg’s accessibility, sustainability, and high-quality event infrastructure
  • Track sales activity, market trends, and performance through CRM reporting

Profile

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, communications, or project management
  • Strong sales mindset with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent in English and French; Luxembourgish and/or German is an asset
  • Confident presenter with strong digital and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of Luxembourg and the corporate events ecosystem is an advantage
