For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an :

General Secretariat - Operational Assistant

The Operational assistant will support the creation and publication of internal communication content, including stories about the Bank's corporate and operational priorities and the Bank community life, helping to strengthen trust between managers and staff and foster employee engagement. Assist in maintaining internal communication channels and tools and in evaluating their effectiveness. Contribute to the delivery of internal communication products, campaigns and activities.

Key Accountabilities:
• Draft, edit and publish intranet news articles, announcements and other internal communication content under the guidance of senior team members.
• Support the preparation and publication of content across internal communication channels, ensuring compliance with editorial guidelines and quality standards.
• Assist in gathering stories, information and multimedia content from colleagues across the organisation.
• Monitor and update internal communication platforms, intranet pages and content repositories.
• Manage unit mailbox, ensuring requests are assigned and responded to in a timely manner.
• Support the organisation and promotion of internal events, campaigns and staff engagement activities.
• Assist with the preparation of newsletters, presentations, briefing materials and communication packs.
• Coordinate content publication schedules and maintain editorial calendars, including on Monday.com.
• Support basic photo, video and graphic content preparation using approved tools and templates.
• Collect and compile communication metrics and feedback to support reporting activities.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for communication projects and initiatives.
• Contribute ideas for internal storytelling and employee engagement activities.
• Maintain communication databases, distribution lists and shared team resources.

This role requires strong writing and organisational skills, attention to detail, and an interest in internal communications. It also requires the ability to work effectively with a range of internal stakeholders. The Communication Assistant contributes to the creation and publication of communication content, supports the maintenance of internal communication channels and tools, supports the organisation of events, as well as assists in coordinating and ensuring the timely delivery of communication products and activities. The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Profil recherché

• Certified secondary level education, complemented with a 2-year certification in a relevant field (e.g. secretarial studies, business administration);

- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and influence contacts at all levels;
• Excellent writing skills;
• Ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects and events;
• Knowledge of the EU institutional and political framework and general understanding of the Bank's objectives, policies, procedures and organization preferred;
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional EU languages an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Interest in editorial work, storytelling and digital communication.
• Basic knowledge of content management systems, Microsoft 365 and digital communication tools.

This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.

Salary ranges between 3,930€ and 4,450€ gross per month, depending on experience.
